Irresistible cake with the perfect sweetness

Who knew that the concept of soggy cake would be so mouthwatering? Well it's been close to 100 years and this cake is still at the top of the totem pole. The Tres Leches cake is made with three types of milk: evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream (or whipping cream.) Definitely not conductive for anyone who shouldn't take in an absurd amount of sugar. Tres Leches is very popular in Nicaragua, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Guatemala, often known as a Latino/Hispanic cake.

“If you're following online recipes to make this cake let me share this fun fact with you: my Abuelita said that you better let it sit in the fridge for 12 hours before you eat it.”

So bottom line? If you can have sugar sweets.. you're in luck because this cake is a must while in Puerto Rico and it can be found just about anywhere.
